Mt Fyffe Outdoor Rongoa Sanctuary
🌿 PIKO BU Rongoā Sanctuary
Outdoor healing canopy situated at the base of Mt Fyffe.
Nestled at the base of Mt Fyffe in Kaikōura, the PIKO BU Rongoā Sanctuary rests beneath a soft canopy of native trees, where birdsong, mountain air, and the scent of the ngahere weave together to create a peaceful haven for healing.
It’s a place where the mauri of the land meets the wairua of the people — where time slows, breath deepens, and reconnection begins.
You may encounter our daily kaitiaki - 3 little robbins or even a few Kereru! Its a place to move slow, connect with nature and in return connect to oneself.
Surrounded by bush, open sky, and the gentle presence of the mountain, the sanctuary offers an outdoor space that feels both wild and deeply nurturing — boho-style, with bean bags, a flowing canopy, and a mirimiri table set amongst nature.
Here, healing is simple, raw, and real.
🌸 What is Offered
At the sanctuary, each session and product is created with tikanga Māori, intention, and aroha.
✨ Mirimiri – gentle, flowing touch to restore balance, release tension, and calm the hinengaro (mind).
🌿 Romiromi – deep traditional bodywork to realign energy and release blockages held within the body.
🕯️ Mahi Wairua – spiritual healing, karakia, and kōrero to cleanse, protect, and reconnect with your higher self.
🌾 Rongoā Rākau – Māori plant medicine balms and pani, handmade onsite using native plants like kawakawa, harakeke, and mānuka.
🔥 Wānanga & Koha Clinics – small group gatherings to learn about cleansing rituals, grounding practices, and living in flow with maramataka and atua.
🌺 The Experience
Whether you’re a traveller pausing to reset after your journey, or a local seeking grounding and reconnection, the sanctuary offers a space to release, cleanse, and return home to yourself.
Every healing, balm, and wānanga is guided by the natural rhythms of the land, the moon, and wairua — helping you find balance in body, mind, and spirit.
“This space was created from the whenua, for te tangata — to remember who we are, and where our healing truly begins.”
